Our Cabin Story
Nearly every summer for the past 15+ years, we’ve packed up the car and driven 2,000 miles to visit family in South Lake Tahoe. Though overall we’ve been lucky with rentals, it’s never easy finding a house available for consecutive weeks that checks all the boxes: a dedicated workspace (or two), comfortable furniture and — the ultimate bonus — an enclosed yard.
Then we happened upon the perfect-sized house for a small family. It felt both enchanting and practical. We found our home.
Since we’re on a teacher’s schedule, and a few years away from living here full-time, we’re inviting friends of friends who plan on spending all or part of the winter in Tahoe to consider Sage Leaf Cabin. We’ll do our best to make sure you have everything you need, starting with these amenities.
If the description and photos match what you’re looking for, drop us a line! Tell us a little about yourselves. We’d love to rent to folks who love the area as much as we do and who are interested in a house that aims to be low-allergen and low-impact.
Thanks for reading!
P.S. We previously owned a Chicago two-flat and rented the top floor to both long-term and short-term renters. Airbnb picked us as a Plus home, a selection of “the highest quality homes with hosts known for great reviews and attention to detail.” You can check out reviews from guests and learn a bit more about your hosts — we really do aim to please!
